Been a long time since I've posted but after spending another afternoon at Caribou and filling my Facebook wall with links and videos I realized that Twitter and Facebook should be getting people here. So I am renewing my commitment to the blogging format. So in the words of the Joker in the Dark Knight: Here, we, go

Coke and Pepsi Make Peace (kinda)
One of the oldest corporate rivalries in history has taken an interesting turn, read this article in Ad Age for a great story. Twitter bringing enemies together. Maybe @BarakObama and @KimJongIl (not real) should follow each other?

The Guy Who Bought MySpace Thinks Twitter Sucks
Rupert Murdoch, who paid over half a billion dollars for MySpace, doesn't get Twitter. Here's the quote:
"I have no idea how they can monetize it. No one monetizes the Web today to any extent other than search."
In the same sentence he manages to pose the question and the answer. How to monetize Twitter? Search.
In another article on Silicon Alley Insider Henry Blodget talks about Bing adding Twitter to search results. Twitter can start charging companies, brands, anyone to have their content searchable. So if I search "Comcast cable" into Bing I get not only their homepage and a bunch of other results I could get the ComcastCares feed. Maybe I was looking for troubleshooting and I can ask Frank. The possibilities are endless. Search "coffee" get a coupon from Caribou for following them. Done.
@biz I'll take my check now.

I think I did this in reverse. My limited understanding of the Internet is that first came blogging then Facebook and then Twitter. I feel as if I have been using Twitter and Facebook as if they were my blog and it never crossed my mind to create a blog, until now. And so I give you "Confessions of a Techaholic" (just taught OS X the word techaholic so it doesn't think it's a typo)
Here I will share with you my take on what I am experiencing in my tech addicted life. Enjoy. Tell you friends. Comment.
